After breakfast drive to Paryang (190km), watching the mountains in distance and driving through dusty road we pass though the small town of Zhongba before reaching Prayang.

Paryang to Mansarovar

Driving from Paryang to Lake Mansarovar through open territory with a view of distant mountains, Yak herders camp, if you are lucky enough you might come across a herd of Kang (Wild Ass), you will have the first sight of Holy Kailash and Mansarovar. O/N Guest House / Lodge.

Mansarovar Lake to Darchen
(4600m – 110km)
Overnight stay – Lodge
For most of the day you are free for Pooja and Hawan. You can take a dip in Manasarovar Lake and do Pooja of Lord Shiva. Full day for spiritual activities. We will drive to Darchen after Mansarovar parikrama (110 km – 2.3 hrs) and stay there.

Darchen to Dirapuk
(4890m – 20km)
First day of Parikrama
Overnight stay – Lodge
Darchen to Diraphuk: After short drive (8 km) from Darchen, we will reach Tarboche and visit Yamdwar. Then trek to Dirapuk which is 12km trek. Today is the first day of your Kailash Parikrama where you have to walk for about 6 to 7 hours.

Dirapuk to Zhulthulphuk
(4760m – 22km)
Overnight stay – Lodge
Trek from Dirapuk to Dolma La Pass to Zuthulpuk total of 22km trek. This is the most difficult journey throughout the yatra since you have to trek up to the 18,600 ft. From descend to Gaurikund and further trek along with the river to Zuthulpuk.

Zhulthulphuk to Dongba
Overnight stay – Lodge
We will trek around 8 kms and reach to the point where the Coach will be waiting for us. Then we will drive to Darchen. After lunch, we will drive to dongba.

Dongba to Nyalam
Overnight stay – Lodge
Drive back to Nyalam. From today we will be leaving this holy place and return back to Kathmandu.

Drive Kathmandu from Nyalam
Overnight stay at Hotel
Drive to Kodari, Chinese border. After custom formalities we will continue drive to Kathmandu for about 4hr (120km) O/N Hotel.

Transfer to Kathmandu Airport
Fly back home. We will drop you at Kathmandu Airport. Additional Optional Trip: Mountain flight, Muktinath & Manakamana.

The accommodation provided at Kathmandu & Nepalgunj was good and the representatives of Kailash Journeys at each transit point in Nepal ensured smooth transition to our next destinations. Once we reached Tibet, the sherpas team lead by Mr.Rajkumar and Mr.Lama Babu took complete care of us. Personalized attention was provided to everyone. Without the guidance and help of the hardworking Sherpa team, it would have been difficult for me to complete the 3 day parikrama.
