Australian Camp & Dhampus Village Trek
Tour Description: Australian Camp & Dhampus Trek
he starting point of this day hike is Kande which you can reach by car or bus (1 hour). A gentle climb from Kande through the villages and forests will take you to Australian Camp where you will have great mountain views of the Annapurna Range. From Australian Camp you continue to Dhampus, a picturesque village, the most photographed in the Pokhara valley. Leaving Dhampus you descend to Phedi where a car or bus will take you back to Pokhara.
The elevation does not reach over 2000 meter so its easy family trekking. Weather along the trek is quite warm except in December and January. Snow is not expected. The trail is very much used by local people and traders. Teashops dotted all along the trail make the walk interesting. The famous Machhapuchare peak (Mateerhorn of Nepal) can always be seen from any point on this trek. You will also have an opportunity for a close look at the daily lives of the villagers of the ethnic Gurung people. Day 01: Kathmandu Arrival – Overnight in Kathmandu
Your Arrival Time – Airport pickup and transfer to your Hotel. Welcome drink and Check-In.

What followed was impressive communication till the end of the tour and prompt responses. From our bank transactions, which was not that simple being a foreign one to itinerary planning to proper arrangements and extra care when we informed them it is going to be our honeymoon - everything was perfect. We stayed in top quality hotels, was given a superb AC sedan car for the whole tour. Mr. Rajkumar and Mr. Ranjit Shrestha both were always there to help us - before and during the tour. The driver come guide was extremely friendly and helpful who made sure everything runs smoothly.

Our guide Mr Laxman was very punctual, coming exactly on mentioned time and has good knowledge about places, drove skillfully well through the narrow hill roads . The trip was planned well.
