• Parikrama refers to circumambulation of sacred places in Hindu or Buddhist context. Parikrama means "the path surrounding something". Outer circuit means  going around of Mount Kailash which is easy to complete, whereas, Inner Circuit involves more trekking covering more areas . The regular Overland and Helicopter Tour Packages actually covers only outer circuit which is easy to complete. Since Inner Circuit is more challenging and takes longer time to complete, it is not recommend it for anyone above 60 years old unless they are in solid health conditions.

• 52 km / 3 days trek at an average altitude of 15000 ft and the highest point is the Dolma La (Pass) at 19,500 ft. Attempt walking the entire distance including the trek up the Dolma La only if you are extremely fit physically. During first and last day of the parikrama, the walks are in general over level ground for around 8 hrs. a day.
• If you can not or do not want to go for Kailash Trekking by foot then you can hire a horse and horse man for 3 days by paying extra (around USD 250 per person). This rate may vary during travel time. Even you do hire a horse, you have to walk at least 2-3 hours

• You can choose not to go for trekking at all. Our staff will be there preparing accommodation and meals at Darchen base camp and you would have to wait until others return from trekking.

• Since only Yaun is accepted, we will exchange the amount to Yuan (Chinese Currency) for you upon your arrival.

• You have to take warm clothes like sweater, trousers, thermo-coat, monkey cap, trekking shoes, high-neck, gloves etc.

• We will be providing you a kitbag, backpack and woolen cap for FREE and down jacket on hire basis.

• No, you don't have to. You can rent a Down Jacket in Kathmandu. We will make this arrangement for you. It may cost around USD 10-15.

• As the Kailash Mansarovar is at high altitude the climate is cold so it is recommended that you have warm clothes with you, thermo coat, monkey cap, comfort shoes, masks, walking sticks, sunscreen lotions, sun glasses are also recommended accessories for the trip.

• There will one Sherpa for every 4-5 persons. Our group size is minimum 25 persons. Our maximum size depends, since sometimes many people want to go with popular Swami together, or listen to Bhagwat Katha, do pooja lead by popular Guruji.

• Yes, you can pick your own departure date if your group have more than 40  persons.

• You have to be physically fit for the Kailash Mansarovar Yatra. It is recommended to get a medical checkup before you plan to go for this religious journey. But it is not mandatory that you have to submit the medical checkup certificate. People with back pain may have problem during the trip on the jagged road. People with asthma or allergic to dust are strongly recommended to wear mask on the dusty road. Besides these people are recommended to practice walking and do exercise and yogas for the physical fitness.
