Itinerary

Route:

Lucknow- Nepalgunj- Lucknow Group Transportation
Nepalgunj – Simikot (by flight),
Simikot – Tumling -Lapchi – Tumling – Simikot by Helicopter

Day 01: Pickup from Lucknow. Nepalgunj arrival

Pick from Lucknow. Arrival at Nepalgunj. Transfer to Hotel in Nepalgunj
Meal: Dinner at Nepalgunj Hotel | Hotel: 4 star Hotel Sneha or similar

Day 02: Fly Nepalgunj – Simikot (2900m) – Overnight in Simikot
Early Morning – Flight Nepalgunj to Simikot (1hr). Spend a night at Simikot for most essential high-altitude acclimatization.
Meal: Breakfast at Nepalgunj / Simikot, Lunch and Dinner at Simikot. | Hotel: Bijaya Hotel or New Potala palace

Day 03: Helicopter to Tumling Base camp (4267m) to Lapchi (5120m) (Kailash Darshan Point) and back to Simikot
Depending on weather- Helicopter ride from Simikot to Tumling (20 min) where the Base Camp to facilitate the darshan is established. Land and spend 30 minutes at Tumling for acclimatization & refreshment. Lite refreshment including Tea, Coffee, biscuits will be provided to the passengers.
After 30 minutes acclimatization & refreshment break ride on Helicopter to Lapchi (10 min). From Lapchi you will see the View of Kailash Mansarovar. There will be a maximum 15 minutes halt at Lapchi for Darshan and Puja offering. Fly back to Simikot.
Meal: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner at Simikot | Hotel: Bijaya Hotel or  New Potala palace or Similar

Note : First –  If incase due to weather conditions the helicopter can’t fly or due to health issue person cannot fly this day then the helicopter ride will be done next day without extra charge. Second – Helicopter capacity is 4 people from Simikot to Tumling whereas from Tumling to Lapchi only 2 people can fly at a time. So, the helicopter will take 4 people from Simikot to tumling and will take 2 people first from Tumling to Lapchi and will fly back to bring a second batch of 2 people. Each lot of passengers will have a maximum 15 minutes of ground time for offering distant puja and picture taking. Due to high altitude, it is not recommended for the passengers to spend more than 15 mins at this point.

Day 04: Fly from Simikot – Nepalgunj & Proceed to Lucknow
Fly from Simikot to Nepalgunj (around 1 hr) and proceed to Lucknow
Meal: Breakfast at Simikot

Optional: Everest Mountain Flight, Muktinath & Manakamana Tour

Age Recommended:

• Up to 55 years old physically fit people without breathing diseases and blood pressure and sugar under control.
• For those above 55 years old we recommend aerial darshan from a helicopter without landing.

Important Notes:

• This Darshan is from Nepal so Chinese Visa is not required.
• Passengers will be screened for Blood Pressure, Blood Oxygen level, Body Weight prior to boarding the helicopter from the Simikot Takeoff Base.
• The flights will be subjected to weather between Nepalgunj Simikot and Heli Shuttle between Simikot and Lapchi.If the weather at Lapchi is not favorable (meaning Mt. Kailash not visible) then the passengers will be put on hold at Simikot.
• No baggage is allowed in the helicopter. Only hand bag not exceeding 2 kg each are allowed.
• Visualization of Kailash is at approximately 25kms distance from Lapchi ( Kailash Darshan Point)
• Any Passenger with high altitude sickness or hypoxia will not be flown to Lapchi for Darshan from ground at Lapchi. Based on the review by the flight commander such person may be given the opportunity of Darshan from air should the commander deems fit to do so without any extra charge.
• Due to weather conditions sometimes you may not be able to make your flight at your scheduled time. So we recommend you to keep one day additional while returning and please make sure your ticket is flexible to change your date.
