Kathmandu Sightseeing

Drive to Kodari

Half day sightseeing of Pashupatinath, Boudhanath Temple. Drive to Kodari (Nepal-China border 120 km – 4 hrs).

Kodari to Nyalam

(3750m – 54 kms)

After processing of Visa formalities of both countries of Nepal and China border, you will be transferred from mini-coach to your Tibetan Guide and drivers. Then proceed to Nyalam (54 kms – 1 hr).

Acclimatization

Entire day free for acclimatization. Short treks will be taken in preparation for the Kailash Yatra.

Nyalam to New Dongba

(4500m – 335km)

After breakfast drive to New Dongba (335km – 7hr), en-route passing through Lalungla pass, Paigu-Tso lake & Brahmaputra river.

New Dongba to Manasarovar Lake (4560m – 387km)

After driving 387km from New Dongba (7hr to 8hr), we will reach Holy Mansarovar Lake after crossing beautiful places and stay at the shore of Lake,fill up spiritual jaal. This lake is the most naturally beautiful with pure water. You will be in Chiu Gompa hot-spring water.

Mansarovar Lake to Darchen

(4600m – 110km)

For most of the day you are free for Pooja and Hawan. You can take a dip in Manasarovar Lake and do Pooja of Lord Shiva. Full day for spiritual activities. We will drive to Darchen after Mansarovar parikrama (110 km – 2.3 hrs) and stay there.

If Asthapad visit is “Opened” by Chinese Government, then you can take excursion to Asthapad & Nandi Parvat with extra cost. From Asthapad you can see a best & closest view of Mount Kailash. It is almost 20 minutes drive to reach Asthapad.

Darchen to Dirapuk

(4890m – 20km)

First day of Parikrama

After short drive (8 km) from Darchen, we will reach Tarboche and visit Yamdwar. Then trek to Dirapuk which is 12km trek. Today is the first day of your Kailash Parikrama where you have to walk for about 6 to 7 hours. You will visit North Face of Mt Kailash and touching the feet of Mt. Kailash (Charan Sparsh).

Dirapuk to Zhulthulphuk

(4760m – 22km)

Trek from Dirapuk to Dolma La Pass to Zuthulpuk total of 22km trek. This is the most difficult journey throughout the yatra since you have to trek up to the 18,600 ft. From descend to Gauri kund and further trek along with the river to Zuthulpuk.

Zhulthulphuk to Dongba

We will trek around 8 kms and reach to the point where the Coach will be waiting for us. Then we will drive to Darchen. After lunch, we will drive to dongba.

Dongba to Nyalam

Drive back to Nyalam. From today we will be leaving this holy place and return back to Kathmandu

Drive Kathmandu from Nyalam

Drive to Kodari, Chinese border. After custom formalities we will continue drive to Kathmandu for about 4hr (120km)

Drive Kathmandu to Pokhara

Drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara (6hr)

Muktinath Puja

Fly from Pokhara to Jomsom

Fly from Pokhara to Jomsom and proceed to Muktinath by drive. After Puja at Muktinath, return back to Jomsom.
Overnight stay – Guest House.

Fly from Jomsom to Pokhara

Fly Back to Pokhara from Jomsom and half day sightseeing of Pokhara. And overnight stay at Pokhara.

Kathmandu Arrival

Drive back to Kathmandu and transfer to Hotel.

Transfer to Kathmandu Airport

Fly back home. We will drop you at Kathmandu Airport.
