Itinerary
Route: Phuntsholing – Paro – Punakha – Thimphu – Phuntsholing
DAY 01: ARRIVE BAGDOGRA/NJP – PHUENTSHOLING ( 3 ½ HRS )
Arrive at IXB/NJP and transfer to Phuentsholing ( Indo/Bhutan border ) If pax Arrive at New Alipurduar than 1 ½ hours drive.
Meal: Not Included
Hotel: Overnight in Hotel Orchid or similar (Phuentsholing).DAY 02: PHUENTSOLING – PARO ( 4 ½ HRS)
After breakfast visit Immigration office to issue Bhutan entry permit; after issuing of permit drive to Paro; Evening free to visit Paro market.
Meal: Breakfast Only
Hotel: Overnight at Olathang or similar in Paro.DAY 03: PARO
After Breakfast Paro sightseeing covering Drukyal Dzong, Ta Dzong, Kyichu Lakhang & Rinpung Dzong. And evening visit Paro Market.

Hotel: Overnight in Olathang or similar in Paro.DAY 04: PARO
After breakfast Visit Taksang Lakhang also known as “Tiger’s Nest Monastery”. Optional drive to chele la pass, highest motor driven pass (3700 Meters); Evening shopping at Paro town.

Hotel: Overnight at hotel Olathang or similar in Paro.DAY 05: PARO – WANGDI/PUNAKHA (03 ½ HRS)
After breakfast, drive to Wangdi/Punakha;.Visit Wangduephodrang Dzong built in 1638; The Punakha Dzong Houses secret artifacts and the embalmed body of Shabdrung Ngawang Namgyel.

Hotel: Overnight in Dragon Nest or similar in Wangdi/PunakhaDAY 06: PUNAKHA – THIMPU ( 2 ½ HRS)
After breakfast drive to Thimpu. Evening Visit Buddha Point and walk around Thimpu Market.

After breakfast full day Thimpu sightseeing covering: National Chorten, National Library, Nat Heritage Museum, Memorial Chorten, Tashicho Dzong, Mothinthang Zoo, Handicraft Emporium, and Art & Craft School.

Hotel: Overnight at River View or similar in Thimpu.DAY 08: THIMPU – PHUENTSHOLING
After breakfast drive to Phuentsholing you can visit upto Lathaguri also this day.

Cancellation Policy
Following cancellation charges will apply:
- Cancellation before 30 days of your tour date: Non-Refundable INR 5,000/person
- Cancellation between 15-30 days before tour date: 50% penalty of total tour cost
- Cancellation between 0-15 days before tour date: 100% penalty of total tour cost

We were looking for a local tour operator there and after surfing internet a lot, Kailash Journeys' reviews impressed us and we contacted them. What followed was impressive communication till the end of the tour and prompt responses. From our bank transactions, which was not that simple being a foreign one to itinerary planning to proper arrangements and extra care when we informed them it is going to be our honeymoon - everything was perfect. We stayed in top quality hotels, was given a superb AC sedan car for the whole tour. Mr. Rajkumar and Mr. Ranjit Shrestha both were always there to help us - before and during the tour. The driver come guide was extremely friendly and helpful who made sure everything runs smoothly.
Definitely recommended. It worth every penny.

From the beginning, Kailash has been very efficient in answering all our enquiries and providing us with all the necessary information prior to our trip....On the day of our arrival, we were picked up promptly at the airport and everything from then on was nothing less than stellar. All our check ins and check outs at the various hotels were seamless and we never had any administration hiccups. Our tour officer Mr Rajkumar Kurung was always checking up on us through phone calls and messages to make sure that we were doing good. He met us the day after our arrival in Kathmandu and on our last day before we departed home to make sure everything was okay and that we had a pleasant time. Customer relations as such is truly commendable.

Our guide Mr Laxman was very punctual, coming exactly on mentioned time and has good knowledge about places, drove skillfully well through the narrow hill roads . The trip was planned well. When we requested a change in the trip after reaching kathmandu it was accepted and Mr Rajkumar made the changes accordingly. They provided a car along with driver for sight seeings and pickup and drop at hotel. No need of hiring any other vehicle anywhere else. He addressed some unexpected issues which came up due to local political situation and responded well to our request for change of hotel ...
