Itinerary

Route: Paro – Thimpu – Punakha – Paro

Day 01: Arrive and drive to Thimphu
Your Arrival Time – Upon arrival, drive to Thimphu. Later visit Buddha Point and stroll around Thimphu small market.
Meal: Lunch and Dinner
Hotel: Hotel River View or similar (Thimphu).

Day 02: Thimphu sightseeing
After breakfast, sightseeing tour of National Chorten, National Library, Nat Heritage Museum, Memorial Chorten, Tashicho Dzong, Monthinthang Zoo, visit National Libarary, Handicraft Emporium, and Art and Craft school.
Meal: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner
Hotel: Hotel River view or similar (Thimphu)

Day 03: Drive to Punakha and sightseeing
After breakfast, drive to Punakha through Doech La Pass from where one can see of Beautiful Mountain ranges of Bhutan. Visit Wangduephodrang Dzong built in 1638. The Punakha Dzong houses secret artifacts and the embalmed body of Shabdrung Ngawang Namgyel.
Meal: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner
Hotel: Hotel Damchen or similar (Punakha)

Day 4: Punakha
After breakfast, commence on sightseeing of Punakha, Khamsum Yulley Chorten – it is a beautiful view walk to the stupa built by third queen Ashi Tshering Yangdon and the new temple and Hunny site of Sangachoeling on the way to Talo Village.
Meal: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner
Hotel: Hotel Damchen or similar (Wangdi / Punakha)

Day 05: Drive to Paro and sightseeing.
After breakfast, drive to Paro. Later commence on sightseeing of Drukyal Dzong, Ta Dzong, Kyichu Lakhag and Rinpung Dzong.
Meal: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner
Hotel: Hotel Olathang or similar (Paro)

Day 06: Paro sightseeing.
After breakfast, commence on sightseeing of Taksang Lakhang – Tiger’s nest Monastery, Optional drive to Chele la pass. Evening free for shopping.
Meal: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner
Hotel: Hotel Olathang or similar (Paro)

Day 07: Transfer to Airport
Transfer to the airport on time to board your onwards flight.
Meal: Breakfast Only

Visa / Passport

Bhutan visa is preprocessed by our company.  Here are the steps for Visa:

1. We need to have your passport copy by scan on our e-mail  2 weeks before your departure.
2. We will send you electronic visa on your mail before your departure.
3. You need to print the electronic visa and carry when you  fly to Bhutan. At immigration authorities will stamp on your passport. You have to pay for Visa charge of USD 40 per person.
4. Your passport must be valid more than 6 months at the time of travel in Bhutan

Cancellation Policy

Following cancellation charges will apply:

1. Cancellation before 30 days of your tour date: Non-Refundable booking amount of USD 100 / person
2. Cancellation between 15-30 days before tour date: 50% penalty of total tour cost
3. Cancellation between 0-15 days before tour date: 100% penalty of total tour cost
