Hiking in Nepal – Nagarkot

 The best trail in Nepal for a day hike

Nagarkot is 32 km of Kathmandu Valley and it is famous for its panoramic views of Himalayas ranging from Dhaulagiri to Kanchenjunga. Many tourist stay a night in Nagarkot for majestic sunrise and sunset views.

Itinerary

8:00AM: We will pick you up from your Hotel and drive for an hour from Kathmandu to Sankhu
Trek to Nagarkot: We walk to Nagarkot from Sankhu for about 3.5 hours. On the way, you will enjoy the fascinating views of Sankhu and Bhaktapur.  You will also pass enroute to Changunarayan a small village, home of an ancient temple of Changu Narayan.
Return by 2:00PM: The hike ends at Nagarkot and you will drive back to Kathmandu which takes 1.5 hours. We will drop you to your hotel by 2:00PM.
