Phulchowki Day Hiking

Phulchowki is the highest hill (2782 M) situated in south of Kathmandu. This is one of the most striking hikes in terms of vegetation in Kathmandu valley. The magnificent view from eastern part of Annapurna range to Gauri Shanker in the east can be seen from this spot, on a clear day. It also provides breathtaking view of Kathmandu valley and is well known for bird watching.

Itinerary

• Morning after breakfast (8.00 AM) drive about 14 km (40 minutes) to Godavari.
• Start hiking up hill to Phulchowki You will experience the vegetation of subtropical thick forest. Later, hike down the same route to Godavari and drive back to Kathmandu.(approx 4 hours hike)
• Can visit Royal Botanical garden at Godavari.
• Back to Kathmandu about 5.00 PM
